job description of IPD physician
Visiting patients in the first hour of hospitalization
Having coordination with the admitting doctor and taking primary instructions from him/ her
Having coordination with the matron of the department and nursing office in order to provide paraclinical services and the required counseling for the patients as soon as possible
Visiting patients on a daily basis
Cooperating with the administrator of the hospital website and computer operators in order to create electronic records for patients
Summarizing patients’ medical records in English
Following up emergency events which may occur for patients at any time
Depending on the policies of the hospital, the IPD (inpatient department) doctors can be residing in the hospital or they can be selected from a list of doctors by the chief of the hospital and kept posted about their patients’ condition.
